Spring break is finally here after an insane week. And of course, break doesn’t mean work ends! It just means the work I do is more enjoyable and actually something I want to do. OK, so I still have to go to work and I do have some school stuff to do, but that’s besides the point. So here is my to-do list for spring break:
- Hangout with friends
Catch up on sleep (Not happening with my sleeping habits)
Spring cleaning (For the most part)
Go to Ikea! (totally psyched for this) (Ikea is awesome!)
Tag music (maybe…) (I started, then quit)
- See Watchmen (although it seems everyone has seen it already)
Work on my site (Made this WordPress layout!)
Go to B&H to look at lenses (Good thing I’m not an impulse buyer)
Take photos (now that I actually have some time) (Went out to shoot twice. That counts)
Practice guitar! (I kind of did)
Attempt to make rainbow cookies! (who wants to be my guinea pig?) (I made a mess =X)
Make a cheapo macro photo studio (need better lights to make it useful!)
Update photos on BAP site (All done! Even Fall ‘08 photos!)
Catch up on some TV shows (OK, so I only caught up on 24)
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully, I don’t end up bumming around and doing nothing.
Alright, so I admit, I’m not really good at this blogging stuff. I keep telling myself to make at least a post a week, but I’m a bum and never get around to it. So I’m officially starting this blog again, for the third time nonetheless. Here’s hoping I update it at least once a week!
Anyways, some important things to mention. First, I’m officially going to study abroad in Shanghai next semester! I submitted my deposit and my spot in the program is reserved. I’m very excited. I can’t stop thinking about the places I’ll visit, the cheap and delicious food I’ll eat, the relaxing feeling of being away from the normal school routine, and did I mention food? Yeah, I’m going to eat a lot while I’m in China. Weird Pocky and Pretz, here I come!
Second, I’m (hopefully) going to start working on completing this site. The blog was easy to set up because all I had to do was install WordPress. Now I have to design the template for the overall site, make my own WordPress skin… basically just code everything. My biggest motivation for starting this site was to chronicle my time abroad (yes, I expected to get into the program rather easily =P). When I’m in Shanghai, I hope to cover every single day that I’m there, to help me preserve the good times I’m sure to have while abroad. Also, building this site is really just a personal project of mine. I wanted to improve my web design skills and what better way to do it than to build an entire site?
So there we are, a post. It won’t be long before another update because I’m making another one to cover my spring break to-do list =P
