The date: October 12, 2009. The reason why it’s important: I had to return to work at Ekohe. It’s not that it’s stressful or terrible, but after a week of work and then a week of no work, I came to realize that working here might not have been the best idea. With all the traveling and the desire to go out and have fun, I guess it’s counter-intuitive to work during the semester. Not that I regret it. The chance to program a professional website is certainly appealing.
Anyways, my Chinese test was long and difficult, but I guess I say that about every week’s test. Not a very thoughtful analysis =). At work, I started learning some Ruby on Rails and had Linux (Ubuntu) installed on my computer. Unfortunately, I didn’t have anything official to do, so I just played around with Ubuntu and read about RoR.
After work, I had to go back to school to finish working the City project. It was kind of like deja vu of Saturday, but this time I ran into NYU in Shanghai Game Night! Didn’t play any games because I was busy though. We ended up finishing the project pretty late, leaving me barely any time to study for the City midterm…
