Tuesdays as usual. Not much to talk about it, since nothing unusual or interesting happened. Marketing was fairly interesting this time. Maybe that’s worth mentioning? On the other hand, On Campus Recruitment (OCR) had me in slight panic mode. The Big 4 accounting firms started recruitment and being abroad is a huge disadvantage. Of course, I knew it’d be difficult going through OCR abroad coming into this, so just have to make the best out of the situation.

10/09/2009 – Day 48 – They’re back…
Yes, they came back. Being deathly afraid that they were bed bugs, I once again didn’t sleep on my bed, opting to stay awake for most of the night. Unfortunately for me, I had Tuesday classes the next day. Ouch.
Justine and Guo Xiaojie helped me again, calling the maids to switch my sheets as well as my mattress this time.

10/06/2009 – Day 45 – Feeling normal?
Another Tuesday and it felt a bit more routine with classes as usual. After all that happened the previous weeks, routine days sounded very enticing. Still, my bites/spots continued to bother me and didn’t seem like they were getting any better. In fact, they seemed to had gotten worse! That meant a doctor visit was in store for me. Luckily, class was pretty interesting, so I was able to take my mind off the itchiness.

09/22/2009 – Day 31 – Back gate interviewing
The most exciting part of the day (save of course that wonderful Chinese test in the morning) was going to the back gate of ECNU and interviewing the food stand and restaurant workers for City & Environment class. I’m amazed by how willing people are to talk to you, even with a video camera taping them. We talked a three people and they all had interesting stories and it just makes me want to buy from them more often. Which I indeed did right after the interviews =X
Unfortunately, the rest of the day was nothing worth writing about. I don’t think anyone’s interested in reading about me nearly falling asleep in class. I think that’s a given by now, which doesn’t make me look very good. Oops.

09/15/2009 – Day 24 – Another day
What can I say? Today was a typical Tuesday. Not much to do when class stretches from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. I did learn some very interesting stuff about Shanghai in City & Environment. Marketing, on the other hand, has sort of become a pain. I’m not really enjoying it much anymore and the work load is looking pretty heavy for this class in the upcoming weeks.
Anyways, I guess I won’t be taking a 24 hour train ride from Guilin to Chengdu. That backfired on us, so we’ll be taking a flight instead. I’m not complaining about the extra costs because the plane only takes two hours, which is infinitely better than a 24 hour train ride. Not that I would have hated the train ride. Would have been quite the experience.
